Food security is the main basis to prevent and guarantee the livelihood of human beings. For this reason, international organizations joined efforts to combat poverty and famine, considering one of the most important foods products in the world regarding food security: the potato. However, to consolidate any product, the problem affecting food production must first be solved - a problem not being addressed in a responsible way in many countries. Therefore, it is crucial to incorporate food security issues into education and culture, to raise awareness and contribute to world peace. In this way, an agreement was signed between the Autonomous Municipal Government of Betanzos, Potosí, Bolivia, headquarters of the National Potato Festival, and the Federation of Clubs and Associations of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, with the aim of implementing an innovative project in literature, specifically in poetry, to value the potato worldwide, through the line of work: Education for the culture of peace. The result of the activity is the joint work between culture - education - science.
