Abstract Apart from biographical data, travel, events, artistic production, awards, recognitions and others, the memories of special moments of a person or entity, are those that give us a vivid, human, almost instantaneous images of a life. Through eight short stories, the authors take us to the constitutive moment of the artistic cast and their first steps in an unknown world; the walk continues with the inaugural functions in improvised stages, the adaptation and operation of the first room exclusively dedicated to puppets in a park in the city of Cochabamba. In a tone of anecdote, it includes "naive and inadmissible" events for a professional stage proposal: the whistle they used to silence the audience in full function, or the staging of a new play every week. The story of the end places the Elwaky Puppets at present, with their achievements and challenges.
