Abstract The students of the History career (second semester of the 2018 administration), of the Archivística Chair, taught by the MSc teacher. Luis Oporto Ordóñez, as part of the methodology that seeks to complement theory with practice, organized visits to different archives and libraries in La Paz and Cochabamba. The Chair of Archivistics designates two chroniclers responsible for recording data of the visits, systematizing them, documenting them and publishing them, in order to witness this unique experience. The students performed this task with pleasure, as they traveled and met four important institutions of this nature and transmitted their testimony to a broad audience
