Abstract The advancement of technology has opened new possibilities in the field of documentation, conservation and dissemination of heritage, has made the universal language, which is the image, be preserved and disseminated more effectively and quickly (Grande, 2014); For this reason, in recent times, projects related to historical heritage have been tackled with the use of digital conservation technology. In our area, given the historical richness, the possibility of carrying out this type of project is favorable and potential. Therefore, an example of the scope and magnitude that can be obtained with the use of emerging technologies in favor of historical heritage is shown. The case of the Fountain of Neptune, located in the neighborhood of Sopocachi, is totally linked to the historical process of our city; In addition to its artistic value, the application of these technologies deserves to be preserved digitally, the results of which can later be used in different models of monumental heritage
