Abstract These notes are an introduction to the work carried out by La Mariposa Mundial in the Collection Suárez Figueroa since 2015. A concept of "collection" is proposed not only in its archivist aspect, as a group of documents of any format or médium, but also, and above all, as an heterogeneous, varied and perhaps confusing but always indelible dimensión, from which the encrypted autobiography of a writer's evolution is forged. Here, a collection will be a strict and openly literary seed, but also a legume of countless historical vicissitudes
