    Resumen

RAMOS FLORES, Marcelo. Santos Marka Tula and the demands of the Caciques apocalypsein the first part of the 20th Century. Rev. Fuent. Cong. [online]. 2016, vol.10, n.47, pp. 24-42. ISSN 1997-4485.

Summary Of striking and significant scope are the contributions of Santos Marca T'ula and the Caciques Delegados during the course of the first part of the 20th century. This research, perhaps, is little known by the official history of Bolivia. Except for the works of Roberto Choque and the THOA (Oral History Workshop). Prolonged community struggles for several years meant symbolic facets at the local and national levels. In particular, these contributions were made by inhabitants of the indigenous communities of Bolivia. Although, in honor of the truth, Marka Tula and the cacique authorities paid a heavy price for the massive and insistent demands; Since the same ones in own flesh were riddled and processed unjustly. The main demands were the claim of their lands of origin, rights to education, elimination of the territorial contribution, free road service and the system of exploitation called pongueaje. In any case, these communal representatives synthesized at the time, the point of reference of the indigenous struggles of the Republic. Although these massive claims had already begun in the colonial period with the emblema tic Julian Apaza commonly known as Tupac Katari. On the other hand, the sad death of Santos Marka T'ula, Aymara leader, whom we highlight in this opportunity, will continue his tireless struggle, Andrés Marka T'ula. That is the descendant son of the indigenous Cacique. Who again will demand with several community representatives, the justified claims, before the different organs of the national power. Although it is true that the (THOA), made a remarkable recovery of the figure of Santos Marka T'ula, through the methodology of the story, we can not ignore the news and reports of legislative yearbooks, memoirs, editors, telegrams and of course the different newspapers, which make known the demands of these protagonists, through the variety of information.
