The present report does not have another interest that the one to emphasize the findings of the research in the historyof the medicine; also to rescue for the present time the lifetime trajectory of thecatalane surgeon Josef Salvani i Lleopard as the great benefactor of the single health project that the Spanish monarchy carried out in its colonies at the beginning of XIX century and that culminated in Cochabamba, Bolivia, coincidently with the rise of September 14th, 1810.
