ISO standards can help to organizations implement best practices in a system of the electronic records management. During the last decade have been published different standards from various perspectives proposed requirements that organizations must observe for the proper management of records. In this paper we discuss these standards and what issues trying to help managers and business managers to ensure good management system. Deficiencies that are not well developed in the ISO standards are also indicated in the conclusions.
