The automatization of clinical history has done necessary to adopt new safety measures for the control of accesses and the use of the information that is in the computers, being treated to preserve therefore the privacy of the patients. Electronic clinical history is less safe neither guarantees the less the confidentiality that history in paper, exists procedures to guarantee that security and confidentiality, that on the other hand demand so much the sanitary norm (Law 41/2002) like the one of protection of data (Law 15/1999). Those procedures are those that allow to guarantee the identity of the person who accedes, the authorization whereupon it counts, the availability of the information, the integrity of this and not repudio to the annotations or carried out consultations in history.
