History of Radio Fides. The founders and first directors were priests of the Company of Jesus. It analyzes the process of modernization sustained in the journalistic activity, with emphasis at the time of Director P. Jose Gramunt de Moragas (1960), the turbulent stage with strength presece of "the third world" fathers (1969-1971), among them the PP. Hammock, Lop and Espinal (1970-1971), the return of Gramunt (1972-1978) and the era of Director P. Eduardo Perez Iribarne S.J. Radio Fides was destroyed by paramilitary forces in the cup d'estage of the 17 of 1980 July. It left again to the air from February of 1982. From March of 1986, P. Perez returned to the direction of the Radio, until the present time. In the decade of the Nineties, Grupo Fides was born, with radio transmitters "Fides" in the main cities of the country; on the other hand, from Fides they were born: Wireless Schools Fides, Agency Nacional Fides, the Christmas Campaign "By the Smile of a Boy", the shared in common aid "Heart Friend", the Cycling and the "Fides Clinic". Fides organized several competitions of cycling from 1994, and the most important competition of the country: "Vuelta a Bolivia de Ciclismo". In November of 2010 it left to the air "Fides Television".
