    Biography of Nilda Josefina Echarte Arrizabalaga, Sister Marta, Uruguayan nun who work in the mining district of Siglo XX, at the time of the mining nationalization, where she met the leader Federico Escobar Zapata, who was removed from the mine clandestinely by Fater Gregorio Iriarte, in jeep of property of the nuns, saving to him the life. With a group of nuns of the Congregation "Hermanitas de Asuncion", made social activism, attending the mining families. She supported to Catholic Working Youth and the Committee of Mining Housewives. Later she returned to Montevideo, where continued its work in the poor disicts of the Cerro de Montevideo and supported the military repression, being three times catched. To it's 90 years, continues supporting the poor families of Montevideo and she does not hide its militant support to the Frente Amplio that governs Uruguay, in a third mandate obtained in the ballot boxes.
