Analyzes and emphasizes the importance of documents in the processes of political transitions in the world, bound mainly to cause the access to certainly governmental archives, emphasizing its social and democratic dimension, in which they contributes to promote the recovery of the historical memory, facilitates the original, authentic and trustworthy document obtaining for the exercise of the citizen rights, foments the attainment of the values of truth and justice and supports the fight against impunity, the corruption, the forgetfulness and the collective amnesia, that is to say, referred the defense of the human rights. These documents contribute a legal and testimonial value, whose information is associate to essential principles like accessibility, transparency, surrender of accounts, truth and justice. It describes the roll of Archivists without Borders that is governed in its statutes, wellknown like "International Letter of AsF".
