The modern archivístic demands for the archives as a essential instrument in the application of transparency policies and good government, as well as to be able to have the documentary base that it allows to know the truth abouth the performance of people, institutions and governments, and does possible to apply due justice in case of vulneración of the human rights. So that this is possible, is evident the necessity to have operative archives, equipped with the necessary resources and in charge of competent professionals and correctly formed. He is indispensable that the group of professionals of the archives bets without reserves by this paper of the archives; in this sense, the ONG Archivists without Borders represents an option to work in this direction.
