This paper discusses some aspects of the múltiple activities that develop Amado Bonpland during their residence in the province of Corrientes, in the 19th century: Also, are considered the autobiographical documentary material that guarantee its presence in our lands and finally the translations projects aimed to revalue the figure of the French scholar. The year 2008, the Undersecretary for culture of the province of Corrientes has declared the year Bonplandiano, in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of it's death intending to enhance through the Museum of Natural Sciences, the life and work of his founder and first Director. Currently the Undersecretary of culture has incorporated the continuity of this objective on the agenda of the Bicentennial of Argentina with a series of activities that are built up in the course of this year.
