In 1876, the historian Gabriel René Moreno presented/displayed a project for the organization of the archives of the Real Pool Hearing and the early Republic of Bolivia, whose documents found them in lamentable state in several deposits, which motivated that the illustrious intellectual carried out a work of salvataje of urgency of the official papers of the colonial and republican time. Later, the report of Colored person was the base for the project of law of creation of the General archives of the Nation, impelled by the parliamentarian Demetrio Calvimontes, he himself who was promulgated the 18 of October of 1883, done per which the Day of the Bolivian Archivista is commemorated in Bolivia.
