Portrayal of Oscar Maya Corzo, whom boga by the essential nature of the social role of the librarían, line of thought which has been strengthened by the critical contributions made in library view lists, which warns of the relationship between social deprivation and use and access of information. Also warns about the absence of educational programmes that provide tools to students in order to provide services librarians in contexts of cultural diversity. They are thoughts that cross different levels, whose focus is the defense of the documentary heritage and the consequent revitalization of library work.
