Biographical sketch of Robert Endean Gamboa, who cultivated the line of research of semiotics and hermeneutics, and for this reason he is a creative architect of symbolic universes of information and knowledge. He has worked in various centres of information, teaching, and on indigenous libraries. It currently coordinates the construction of the U Kúuchil Na'at Maya Digital Library project.
