This study tries within the framework to explore excellent aspects of the writing of Carlos Medinaceli and Gamaliel Churata as founders of the movement “Develop Barbarian” of Potosí in 1918, of the simbología of the barbarism. The name of “Develops Barbarian” who continues inspiring several generations of poets by Bolivia to the present time, will be then in center of this reading of writings of the years 20 and 30 that were reflection about of the “other”. A “other” that, within the simbología of the “Barbarian” and from Bolivia, calls to History and full of contradictions.
