This article aims at analyzing the implication of the new Law on Communal Agricultural Production Revolution in the institutional framework for agricultural development in Bolivia. It focuses specifically on the legal recognition of the community as an organization with its own institutions (rules of behavior) and in the creation of new organizations and institutions aimed at ensuring a very active role of the state.
