From an ethnographic perspective, this paper reviews the conflict TCO Guaraní in Alto Parapetí, presenting reflections about the emerging relationships between gas, sovereignty, the State and indigenous territorial project. The author argues that the conflicts in Alto Parapetí depict two different transforming scenarios regarding the sovereignty: First the partial removing of the local power (feudal and its network) through mobilization of indigenous as sacrifice-able citizens; and second, with collective mobilization of indigenous as sacrifice-able citizens; and second, with mobilization of indigenous groups and transforming their collective-imaginary, challenging the colonial violence both in the past and present time, and searching for articulation of new territorial vision with re-founding the pluri-national project of sovereignty.
