ABSTRACT This paper is the product of the proposal of doctoral research that consists of the design of a systemic model for the organization of virtual classrooms through networks of cognitive nodes, for its application in the virtual classrooms of the Faculty of Engineering in Sciences of the computing and telecommunications. The design of the proposal is based on the systems approach, it interrelates a network of subsystems in the form of a tree. Likewise, the proposed model focuses on constructivism in the sense that, it develops meaningful learning with the use of mediation tools with the concept of zone of proximal development, introducing in turn the connectivism by using the concept of network of nodes and connections, resulting in the construction of the student's own knowledge.
