Abstract At work a new innovative and alternative approach to managing rainwater comes in urban environments, whose basic principie is to simulate nature, based on the management of precipitation near where it falls, in order to reduce the flow of water before the rivers or other waterways joins. In addition are some of the experiences of implementation in different countries, allowing to have an overview of the challenges the bet required to drive the widespread implementation of this new system of rainwater management change.
