Abstract This article explains the evolution of e-learning in Colombia starting from the beginning and has strengthened as distance education, and looks that factors have influenced what is now called ubiquitous education in Colombia, on the other hand is explained by what distance education is as important for e-learning and e-learning as became the new educational model.
