This is a lung criptococosis case presentation in a 70 year-old woman, with obstructive chronic lung emphysema and central nervous system dissemina-tion. Clinically it produces pain in 40% and cough in 20% of the cases, therefore the diagnosis becomes so hard . The auxiliary exams of diagnosis have high dependability, even more if we have the antecedents of contact with birds which are usually carriers of the fungi, as it happens in this case.
