The research analyse the incidence of malignant pleural mesothelioma since 1998 to 2003, motivated for an increase of the cases in Cochabamban refer-ence hospital, we pretend to determine the malignant pleural mesothelioma incidence in the Cochabamban reference hospital: in relationship to the age, gender and enviromental risk factors exposition. The research is retrospective, cross sectional and descriptive, using the clinical historys like information, and the EXCEL to the descriptive analisis. We conclude that in Cochabamba exist a mejor incidence of malignant pleural mesothelioma in the women, either would aparence that this disease is not relationate whith the enviromental risk facts exposition.
