    Resumen

    In Bolivian. the Hansen disease , it is known low diverse denominations, as being: Lazaro - Guide, caught of the earth, Chaquipujio, Mananto, and many others. Being considered by our people's great part like, a curse of God, a fact damage, a witchcraft, ignoring that it is an infect con-tagious disease, but from this, the less contagious, and that has cure. In our coun-try, only in three centres they are carried out treatment for the leprosy, as being: the Hospital Dermatológic of Jorochito's' (Santa Cruz department), Candia Hospital (Hernando Siles county) and Beni, being of all these that of more importance the Hospital of Jorochito. The Research is cross sectional and descriptive, it was re-wied clinical histories of Lepra cases in the hospital in the 2000 to 2004 (first semes-ter). And it was classified in relation of gen-der, clinical presentation form, and incapa-city's. We conclude that the major prevalence of Lepra was in the 2001, the razon is unknown. The most frequent form of presentation was multibacilar form. The most frequent dyscapacitis was in o and I level. The men has three times most risck factors than the women, this could its leed for a genetic predisposition, in this gender.
