    Resumen

    The superficial mycosis represents a heterogeneous unit of very frequent infections at world level. In order to know the frequency of mushrooms producing of superficial mycosis and to conform tell-tale epidemiological that don’t approach to the local reality it is that, in the lab of Bacteriology of the "Obrero" Hospital realized a retrospective study of specimens of ambulatory and interior patients of both sexes with I diagnose presumptive of dermatomicosis. The identification of the mushrooms realized per microscopic exam and I cultivate in selective means. Of the 426 procedural specimens, 188 were constructive. Of the attended patients, 97% was mature, 3% children. In relation to the sex, 57% was women and 43% males. The mostly affected patients were in the unit 41-50 year-old etáreo. The frequency of insulation of the principal mushrooms was the following one: Candida sp 37,8%,T. mentagrophytes 22,9%, T. rubrum 20,7%, M. gypsy 6,9%, M. furfur 4,8%, E. floccosum 3,7% and M. gypseum 3,2%. The localizations but you frequent they were the skin (58,5%), nails of feet and hands 37,7% and leather hairy 3,7%. Candida sp was isolated of nails and skin; T. mentagrophytes and T. rubrum, nail and hairy leather respectively; M. gypseum, M. furfur and M. gypseum and hairy leather respectively; E. floccosum was isolated alone of the skin. The mycosis prevalence was of 0,4%, the mushrooms levaduriformes were the more prevalent.
