    ABSTRACT Raynaud's phenomenon is a disorder characterized by periods of vasospasm followed by a hyperhemic period in distal regions of the body. 11 can be primary or sccondary to a rheumatologic diseases. Primary Raynaud's phenomenon occurs more in women with mild symptoms, age of onset is before 30 years. Secondary Raynaud's phenomenon is associated with other diseases, severe symptoms, begins after 30 years oíd with antinuclear antibodies. We have pharmacologic and surgical alternatives to treat it to avoid the complications caused by this phenomenon.
