The burn doesn’t affects just physically but psychologically and socially for what its handling is very important. Actually there isn’t a protocol that leads the services were these patients are attended. Objective: The objective of this research is to compare the handling of the 2º and 3º grade burn patient in the burn service of the “Hospital the Clinicas” and Hospital Obrero No 1, the parameters that we are basin on are sex, age, etiological agent and percentage of the burn and comparing the treatment in both Hospitals. Patients and Methods: We looked 76 clinics histories (36 Obrero Hospital, 40 Clinicas Hospital) of patients that were attended between July and December of the 2007 with burns of 2º and 3º grade, looking for the topic agents that were used, number of cirurgical cleanings, the complications that presented. Results: The treatments of the burn patient in both hospitals were completely different, the Hosp. Obrero Nº 1 performed more chirurgical cleanings, and the choice of topic agents were different in the burn patient. Conclusions: the burnt patient's treatment among the two hospital centers is completely different entering to surgical cleanings a bigger number of times in the Obrero Hospital besides the use of topical agents were different in both cases.
