Abstract
GRUDNER CARRANZA, Erick C. SONOCHEMISTRY: ACCELERATING REACTIONS BY APPLYING ULTRASOUND Specific case: Production of fuel vegetal source similar to (diesel) petroleum derivative. Rev. Tecnológica [online]. 2023, vol.19, n.25, pp. 1-16. ISSN 1729-7532.
ABSTRACT In accordance with the importance of diesel oil in the productive sphere, and the need to find sources of supply other than oil exploitation. The industrial context for this case of sonochemistry offers opportunities for technological innovation in the triglyceride material to be used, optimization of process variables, analysis methods, hydrodynamic and kinetic modeling, reactor construction materials, electronic equipment (oscillators) for the generation and ultrasound control in the kinetic process: initiation, progress, extension and collapse of bubbles; considering these as important initiators of energy and matter transport for transesterification assisted by cavitating ultrasound.
Keywords : Diesel oil of fossil origin; vegetable fuel,; ultrasound; hydrodynamic and kinetic modeling; cavitation; sonochemistry; industrial sonicators.
