ABSTRACT The research work made it possible to determine resistant parameters of the slope that supports a post-slide building (Kantutani 2019). Emphasizing that the soil is composed of a mixture of sandstone, clay, silt and Urban Solid Waste (MSW), which does not correspond to a frequent material for traditional testing, however, ASTM and AASHTO standards were used as a reference, in addition to tests visual identification, in situ tests and resistant conditions to be able to compare the values obtained in the laboratory. The probabilistic analysis of results helped to reduce the uncertainty in the behavior of the soil with MSW. The evaluation of the slope considering the external load (building) that it supports, has established based on the ASD and LRFD stability analysis that the resistant parameters are specific to the current conditions of the place, remaining in the equilibrium limit. Recommending carrying out periodic soil studies because the dynamics of these soils mixed with RSU can change the resistant parameters of the slope.
