REYNAGA NAVA, Arturo; DIAZ CHIMIN, Maribel e POCOREY CHOQUE, Luís. MANUFACTURE OF FINE BUBBLE CERAMIC DIFFUSERS AND TESTS FOR THE TRANSFER OF OXYGEN IN POTABLE AND RESIDUAL WATER STAINS. Rev. Tecnológica [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.22, pp. 3-6. ISSN 1729-7532.
ABSTRACT For the manufacture of ceramic diffusers, clay was used, originally from the Alpacoma sector of the ciudad de La Paz-Bolivia, previously purified by wet way, and to achieve the porosity of the diffusers, a small clay extruder was constructed, immediately several mixtures and compositions were extruded containing separately wheat flour 000, semolina and sawdust (extra fine). The results of the extrusion are: brittle and unstable structures, to greater mixtures it is no longer possible to extrude in the equipment. In the second stage, the clay mixture with a thickness of 4 to 5 mm was molded and laminated, being the best mixture of 41,17% semolina, observing microscopically, surfaces with adequate and uniform microporocity. Aeration tests have better results at a longer bubbling time. In the case of wastewater, the content of organic matter impairs diffusion and causes clogging of the pores of the diffuser.
