Abstract A combined procedure of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Multicriterial Spatial Evaluation (MSE), was applied to determine the risk levels of landslides in the municipio de Achocalla, using information available from satellite images, digital models of elevation and geographical spatial information obtained from state institutions. Representing the information through a scale of severity of the risk of landslide (chromatic map), from the evaluation of the threats and criteria of vulnerability of the place.
