Abstract In the present article, a description of the deterministic method is presented as an effective reference in the elaboration of the cartography of the application case (area of 0,08 km² located in distrito 15 San Antonio bajo municipio La Paz) and its importance to evaluate the risk of landslides. Initially the threat was determined using geotechnical parameters such as: groundwater level position, SPT, CPT and geophysical tests, among others. Complementing the research with the assistance of SSR and PHASE2 programs. Continuing with the analysis of social and physical vulnerability. The cartographic response showed that the past place of the landslides (center of the map) is still unstable. It also presents risk from high to medium in the lateral areas. Visually confirmed by cracks in the road platform.
