    Abstract This paper makes a review on technological layout used in the colada foundry, in accordance with design to ensure the phase shift and sustainability of this improved process on principles of fluid transport (moving liquids, filling a cavity by time, etc.) ; In addition to the specific knowledge on intensive and extensives properties of the matter, solidification and heat exchange between the molten metal and the molding material, the solidification time, characteristics of the metal shrinkage, use of chillers and design and implementation of feeders treating variables of surface and volume.
