SUMMARY The technical standard of densification of the geodesic network of the Gobierno Municipal de La Paz has as Datum the WGS 84 and ellipsoid WGS -84, which must be adapted to the new geodetic reference system in its three components using the GRS80 ellipsoid. Consequently, the research carried out, sought to answer whether the adoption of a new national geodetic reference framework influences the current and future results of the urban cadastre of the municipality of La Paz in terms of possible modifications of the coordinates of its Geodetic Network? Establishing as a result of the preliminar research, that the adoption of a new national geodetic reference framework that includes the use of the GRS80 ellipsoid parameters, if it will generate coordinate variation with respect to the determined ones considering the WGS84 ellipsoid, would therefore affect the Precisions sought and regulated by the municipality of La Paz, considering that the variations oscillate between 3 up to 650mm.
