    Resumo

    The acquired knowledge, after a long time of experimentation shows that: to achieve the desired effect (reduction of environmental CO2), the catalytic reaction was chosen mainly because of its rapid conversion when applied in electrochemical processes taking advantage of surface phenomena and catalysis heterogeneous on normal and nanostructured electrodes. Heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis processes using very demanding experimental assemblies. Although the results are still diverse and only on laboratory scale (developing technologies), they reflect the investigations of experimental physicochemical to solve this environmental problem.
