    To transport natural gas black steel pipes are used underground and one of the biggest problems that arises is suffering corrosion effect mainly iron from moisture and soil salinity. In the iron-carbon alloys (called common steels), the structure has different polycrystalline geometrically and energetically inhomogeneous, with areas that show trends and other spontaneous anode cathodic areas less reactive aggregates. Given the impossibility of accurately characterize hotspots.
