ASCHERO, Carlos A et al. ARCHAEOLOGY AND IDENTITY... ORIDENTITY OF THE ARCHAEOLOGY IN THE INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY OF AMAICHA DEL VALLE (TUCUMÁN,ARGENTINA). Textos Antropológicos [online]. 2005, vol.15, n.2, pp. 263-276. ISSN 1025-3181.
The Native Community of Amaicha del Valle (Tucumán, Argentina) is aparadigmatic case to show how thepractices to introduce this identity are bound to a vague scope. In which the strains between thefactions that run in the Community and the diverse components that combine the construction process ifthe community identity itselfplay a principal role. Based on the complex camp ofthe social relationships thatform the community of Amaicha, the strategy that we propose is focus on home studentwork, which means to minimize the strains between factions and run in the "home frame" that actively participate in the inter-game of the relationships inside the community.
