This essay talks about television image and observes it as a sample of subjectivities presents in the maker ofthe image. Starting from this idea, the authors reflect on how "pictoric " images of indigenous people reveal interculturality expressed through itsform though not in its essence. Thus, they argue that television images wouldwork as afictive construction of identity. Through the reflection of a personal experience, they propose that images can be usedin anthropology as an ethnographic document, and that they can also show subalternal stories andnotjust the official ones
