Feelings, reviewedfrom anthropology, are perceived as knowledge and reproduction of social parameters in which an individual develops itself. In this way, the time age, society and environment would be influential factor s in the development of feelings because they are social heritages. This essay reflects on the influences that act over the feeling of happiness. Accordingly to this, the questfor happiness, in our days, includes an appraisal of individualism, communicational mediums, and the new economic order ofthe world, aspects that determine what happiness is, andhow a per son can reach it
