The present article, beyond suggesting a reflection about the role ofthe anthropologist in the present; it 's an approach to understand more accurately, what is meant when referring to the term globalization. Startingfrom the study of multinational enterprises andprincipally their insertion in the different societies to which they have been oble to expand, a new Une of investigation is open about the processes ofadaptation; that can explain why in some cases these expansions finalize in a successful re-accommodation, while in others thefailure is determined by their incompatibility with the cultural context.
