The present article, offers some important aspects related to the Islamic religión and the gender roles assumedfor thefaithfulMuslims in their countries oforigin, as in "occident". In this sense, it gives a generalpanoramic view ofthe adaptations sufferedby theMuslim immigrants in countries like Bolivia where "western " culture and Christian religión prevail.
