This essay examines, startingfrom renowned bibliography ofthe subject, the construction ofthe gender's identities. The masculine identity is explored more carefully considering the characteristics ofhis structure and his expressions. The word "fag/sissy " is analyzed, as well as the implications that it has in our societies for the foundation ofthe manhood. This evaluation concludes with the acknowledgement ofthe reconstruction's capacity of the gender's identities, that can become more integratedandliberated.
