Through the pursuit and search ofthe origins ofthe traditions concerned to afolkloric dance, other types ofanalysis are also executable, such as the case ofthe identity ofthe dancers, the transmission ofthese identities, the role ofthe costumes, and the influence ofthe per son who designs and elaborates them. The pursuit ofthe history ofa dance also leads to reflect about the categorization of some folkloric manifestations as autochthonous and natives. The present article, calis attention on these categories, because it considers that some cannot correspond with the origins that are attributed to them.
