ABSTRACT: The Weevil of the Andes is the main pest that causes and causes damage to the potato crop, generating low yields in its agricultural production. In Bolivia, potatoes are the main source of income for farmers in the valleys and highlands. The research was developed to incorporate and demonstrate the importance and effectiveness of nature-friendly components such as the use of BioMax Eco-insecticide for the efficient control of the Andean Weevil. The methodology is based on the following stages: potato planting, harvesting of adult gorgos in the field, separating the gorgos by groups, application of three doses of Biomax Eco-insecticide, forms of application (direct and indirect). The evaluations were carried out in the laboratory, a test was implemented in containers with 15 Weevils ofthe species Premnotrypes spp. per treatment (5 E.U. per treatment) and 4repetitions per treatment, which were sprayed with Biomax at a dose of 1.0; 1.5; 2.0 lt/ha of Biomax Eco-insecticide, the effect of Biomax was evaluated on 14,17, 21 and 28 days, after its application, recording the number of dead insects. Efficiency was determined using the Henderson and Tillton formula (% Mortality = 100 x [1 - (Ta x Cb) /(Tb x Ca)]), based on the number of live insects in the Biomax doses and in the Control. According to the results in the laboratory, the efficiency ofthe control of Biomes in the Adult Premnotrypes spp. Gorgos, in terms ofthe results obtained: Application of BioMax Eco-insecticide at different doses, where T3 (2lt/ha with direct application) reached have an efficiency of 73.3% in the three days after application, which in T2 (1.5lt/ha with direct application) and T1 (1lt/ha with direct application) had a lower efficiency of 53.3% and 43.3%. While with indirect application; T4 (1lt/ha), T5 (1.5lt/ha) managed to have a low efficiency of 33.3%, 43.3% after three days of application, which T6(2lt/ha) managed to havean efficiency 63.3% four days after the application of BioMax
