ESPINOZA ALMAZAN, Jorge Gabriel  and  LOPEZ BLANCO, Carlos. Bromatological analysis (Composition)of Cake-Type Silage association of Vicia (Vicia sativa) and Oats (Avena sativa). Apthapi [online]. 2023, vol.9, n.3, pp. 1-12. ISSN 0102-0304.

ABSTRACT:                    In the Department of La Paz, the Municipality of Viacha is characterized by productive diversification and dairy cattle breeding (Holstein breed), the Choquenaria Experimental Station (UMSA-Faculty of Agronomy), conducts human resource training, social interaction and research. The production of Cake Type Silage through Association (Legumes and Forages) are important to provide a balanced feed of proteins and carbohydrates. The objective of the research is to evaluate the "Bromatological Analysis" using Vicia (Vicia sativa) and Oats (Avena sativa), using "Cake Type" Silage, the result of the Silage process (Decomposition Process) and its analysis carried out in Cetabol ( Santa Cruz), of different parameters: MS% (Oat 32.18%, Vicia 19.65%); Ash (Oats 7.06%, Vicia 10.4%) ; Protein(Oat 8.44%, Vicia 28.67%); Ethereal Extract (Oat 2.17%, Vicia 3.72); Crude Fiber(Oats 24.9%, Vicia 19.3%); FDA (Oats 35.92%, Vicia 27.7%), FCD (Oats 50.71% and Vicia 34.78%) and minerals. The Analysis allowed to determine that the Quality of the Silage depends on the protein content, the crude fiber for the digestibility as well as the detergent crude fiber for the digestibility as well as the detergent crude fiber respectively.

Keywords : Bromatological Analysis; Composition; Silage; Forage and Legume Association.
