    Abstract

PAYE APAZA, Vania Michelle; MAMANI HUANCA, Joel Moisés  and  MACHACA CALLIZAY, Daniela. Weight gain applying complex B (Revitafos plus B12 + ATP) in sheep corriedale (Ovis aries) in The Choquenaira experimental station. Apthapi [online]. 2022, vol.8, n.2, pp. 52-57. ISSN 0102-0304.

ABSTRACT: In Bolivia, sheep are economically important for production systems because they generate income, provide meat and milk to feed families, in addition to producing wool and leather. The Corriedale is a dual-purpose sheep that adapts very well to extensive and semi-extensive production systems, is able to take advantage of natural meadows, has adequate fertility, so this research work raised the following objectives; Determine the effect of Complex B on weight gain in sheep (Age 8-9 months), Identify if Complex B has an effect on zoometric measurements (Body length, Height at withers) in sheep, The treatments were distributed in a completely randomized design, with three treatments anda control, The main results indicated. The effect of Complex B on weight gain in sheep, highly significant differences were observed, indicating thattreatment one reached a weight gain of 8.500 g with an application of 3 ml of the product, being superior to treatments 2 (5 ml) and 3 (7ml), the most efficient dose in the average daily weight gain in sheep was in treatment one, the sheep per day gained 124.93 g/day, treatments 2 and 3 per daygained 104- 107g/day respectively, in the weekly weight gain, the pulling one showed superiority with 1.060 g, the remaining treatments obtained a similar weight gain, Complex B has no effect on the zoometric measurements (Body Length and Height at the withers), statistically they do not present a significant value
