    Resumen

    ABSTRACT: The bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) is an important crop for human consumption due to its nutrient content and to generate economic income for farmers. It has been determined that the soils of the Municipality of Palos Blancos have a moderate presence of phosphorus, potassium and a low presence of nitrogen, which would limit the development and yield of the beans; Faced with this problem, it was proposed as an alternative to incorporate the missing elements through the application of worm humus tea. The objectives of the research were: to determine the chemical properties of humus tea, and to establish the appropriate concentration of the extract for the development of the bean. The methodology for obtaining the concentrated humus tea consisted of placing 2 kg of worm humus in a permeable bag and introducing it into a container with 10 L of water, allowing it to stand for 48 liters, the solution obtained was mixed with water in a ratioof 20% and 40%, then it was applied by foliar application to beans with a frequency of 7 days. The results of the analysis of the solutions prepared at 20% and 40% determined that nitrates NO3, phosphates PO4 and potassium oxides K2O were found in amounts from 3320 to 13280, 24 to 3060 and 120 to 240 mg/l respectively. The random blocks statistical design was used, and accordingto the ANVA analysis of variancefor the variables plant heightand number of leaves, there were no significant effects with respect to the control, with a 95% probability that the means of the variables are equal. The mean height (cm) of the beans was 52.30 (Control), 44.80 (20% tea) and 62.30 (40% tea); the number of leaves were 12, 18, and 13 respectively, noting a slight difference with the applied treatments.
