MELANIO MENDOZA, Franz  and  ORTUNO ROJAS, Luis Humberto. Evaluation of the effect of nutritive solutions with fertirrigation in varieties of brown pepper (Capsicum annuum L.). Apthapi [online]. 2021, vol.7, n.1, pp. 2152-2159. ISSN 0102-0304.

ABSTRACT: Nowadays, consumers of bell peppers and various vegetables tend to demand better quality among mass consumption products and complementary products of daily consumption. That is why it was decided to Evaluate the effect of nutritive solutions with fertigation in varieties of bell pepper (Capsicum annuum L.), to achieve the development in winter for the varieties of pepper, where the agronomic variables, the costs of production benefit / cost. For the research, a completely random design was used with divided plots arrangement, factor A was the levels of Chemical Fertilizer (Ammonium Nitrate) (240 kg, 120 kg and 0 kg) and factor B the varieties of pepper (California Wonder, Yolo Wonder and Mercury), the response variables plant height, stem diameter, number of suckers, days to flowering and yield. The results obtained in plant height the highest development to treatments T-6, T-5 and T-4 with 14.15 cm Var. California; 13.03 cm Var. Mercury and 11.28 cm Var. Yolo all corresponding to the medium level (23.8 kg N), while in the number of suckers the highest in treatments T-6, T-5 and T-4 with 5.2 Var. California; 4.75 Var. Mercury and 4.05 Var. Tolo, for the number of flowers we haveT6 with an average of between 3 to 4flowers between plant and sampled plant, followed by T5 with approximately 3 flowers, T4 between 2 to 3 flowers, for fruits T6, T5 and T4 between The treatments with the highest quantity with an average of 2 to 4 fruits between treatments, for their diameter, the T6 is recorded with the largest average diameter with 6.4 cm corresponding to the average level of the California variety, followed by the T5 treatment with 5.8 on average. For fruit weight, T6 is recorded with an average of 25.5 g, T5 with 23.2 g, and T4 with 22.4 g, and the lowest weights were recorded in T1, T2 and T3 with 17.5 g, 15.3 g and 13.2 g respectively and in terms of yield, T6 with 2.68, followed by T5 with 2.16, on the other hand, the lowest yields are for T3 and T9 with 0.28 and 0.5. The Benefit / Cost ratio shows us that the T6 reached the highest ratio with 4,195 corresponding to the average level of the Var. California. While the lowest relation corresponds to the T3 with 0.638 of the low level of the Var. yolo. It is concluded that the T6 corresponding to Var. California with 120 kg was the best and most prominent in the whole study for all the variables measured.
